Couple Counselling / Relationships David is a counselling psychologist with over 15 years of experience, working primarily with adults including those from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. He provides counselling for a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. He also has extensive experience in work-related issues and offers couples counselling.
David is warm, collaborative and tailors his approach to suit each client's individual needs and goals. He strives to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental space, where clients can explore challenges, gain insight, and progress towards meaningful change.
David draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Couples Method Therapy. He is also a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.
He is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists, a Fellow of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists, and a board-approved supervisor.
